Job summary

Zenviron seeks an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to drive the electrical scope of a major renewable energy project in the Hunter Region, NSW. Initially based in Newcastle, you will lead design reviews, construction, testing and commissioning, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will manage subcontractors, control costs and schedules, and support site teams during construction.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering recognised in Australia.
Experience delivering major electrical infrastructure projects.
Experience on utility-scale renewable energy projects.
Strong understanding of electrical construction, installation, testing and commissioning.
RPEQ, CPEng or eligibility to obtain professional registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical construction and commissioning work packages across the project lifecycle.
Coordinate with PM, project team and Zenviron engineering to meet safety, quality, cost and schedule objectives.
Oversee engineering, procurement and construction activities to support delivery.
Review designs, drawings and specs for constructability and cost improvements.
Manage technical queries, RFIs and documentation throughout execution.
Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to meet project requirements and milestones.
Support installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and HV systems.
Maintain project documentation and risk tracking.
