Job summary

Hindmarsh in Adelaide is seeking an ambitious Contracts Administrator to join our commercial team. You'll work on technically challenging projects across residential, affordable housing, aged care, health and commercial sectors, while developing your career within a leading Australian construction business.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will prepare subcontract packages, administer head contracts and subcontract agreements, assess progress claims and payments, and support forecasting and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' commercial construction experience.
• Experience in Contracts Administration, procurement or commercial project delivery.
• Sound understanding of construction processes and contract administration.
• Familiarity with contract law principles and relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing subcontract packages, scopes of work, tender evaluations and procurement schedules across multiple trades.
• Administering head contracts and subcontract agreements.
• Assessing progress claims, variations and subcontractor payments.
• Assisting with project forecasting, cost control and commercial reporting using CHEOPS and Aconex.
• Building strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Supporting the project team to achieve project financial and contractual objectives.
