Job summary

Multiplex is seeking a Contracts Manager to support procurement of labour and sub-contractor services and manage financial activities on large-scale projects. The role is based on site in Coomera, part of the new Coomera Hospital project on the Gold Coast, and is a full-time, permanent position.

You will assist the Contracts Manager with cash flow, variations, reporting and administration while applying strong contract administration and procurement expertise on a major health infrastructure

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contracts Administrator, Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role within construction.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement and tendering processes.
• Sound financial and commercial acumen.
• Ability to interpret drawings and construction documentation on large scale projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Contracts Manager in procurement of labour/sub-contractor services and financial activities.
• Focus on cash flow, profit maximisation, variations, reporting and administration.
• Contribute to contract administration on large scale projects and ensure compliance with project requirements.
