Job summary

Rexel Australia seeks a pricing-focused professional to manage local quotes, renewals and maintenance within ERP systems, while strengthening supplier partnerships to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.

You will support tender submissions, pricing reviews and contract activities, review customer BOMs, and identify alternatives to improve margins. Strong data management and Excel skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data handling.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and confidence with business systems.
• Experience in electrical wholesale, industrial, lighting or broader electrical products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing local deals from enquiry through quotation, renewal and ongoing maintenance within ERP systems.
• Building supplier partnerships to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
• Supporting tender submissions, annual pricing reviews and contract activities.
• Reviewing customer BOMs and identifying product alternatives and value-added solutions.
• Monitoring and analysing customer margins to optimise profitability.
• Maintaining pricing, data and contract accuracy, including obsolete products.
• Collaborating with sales, operations and customers to resolve data issues.

This is a varied and commercially focused position where you'll work closely with suppliers, sales teams and customers to drive pricing accuracy, improve margins and support strategic customer opportunities.

Job Description

Managing local deals from enquiry through to quotation, renewal and ongoing maintenance within ERP systems

Building strong supplier partnerships to secure competitive pricing, favourable trading terms and reliable product availability

Supporting tender submissions, annual pricing reviews and contract-related activities

Reviewing customer BOMs and identifying suitable product alternatives and value-added solutions

Monitoring and analysing customer margins, providing insights and recommendations to optimise profitability

Maintaining accurate pricing, product and contract data, including management of obsolete and superseded products

Working closely with sales, operations and customers to resolve data integrity and automation issues

Supporting supplier negotiations and commercial initiatives that deliver value across the business

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data management

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and confidence working with business systems

Experience within the electrical wholesale, industrial, lighting or broader electrical products industry (highly regarded)

Electrical trade sales or commercial sales support experience (highly desirable)

Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills

The ability to interpret technical specifications and product information

Excellent time management and prioritisation skills

A collaborative approach and strong stakeholder engagement capability

Commercial acumen with an understanding of pricing, margins and market dynamics
