Job summary

Job Q, Newcastle, NSW, seeks an experienced Site Supervisor for a major $60 million commercial residential development. This 12-month contract role will work closely with the Project Manager and site team to ensure work is delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards.

You will lead subcontractors, coordinate trades, oversee safety, and maintain quality across the program while building strong client relationships and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Previous site supervisor experience on commercial/residential projects.
• Proven ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Strong WHS knowledge and quality management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• White Card and construction qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel.
• Manage daily site activities and short-term programming.
• Monitor progress to meet program targets.
• Drive site safety and WHS compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
• Coordinate deliveries, logistics, and trade sequencing.

Renowned for delivering high-quality commercial developments, this builder has an impressive project pipeline and a reputation for maintaining exceptional construction standards, safety compliance, and client relationships. Your New Role: As Site Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day site operations on a major $60 million commercial residential development in the Newcastle region. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will ensure all works are delivered safely, on program, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
