Job summary

Webuild, on behalf of Parklife Metro JV, is seeking a Contract Manager to lead the commercial arm of the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project. You will oversee the full contract lifecycle from procurement to final account, working closely with delivery teams on a complex infrastructure program.

The role requires substantial experience in major construction contracts, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage risks and commercial relationships across multiple stakeholders in a

Qualifications

• Experience in contract management within major construction/infrastructure projects
• Experience with variations, claims, extensions of time and delay claims
• Ability to lead commercial negotiations and resolve contractual issues

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial and contractual administration of allocated subcontract packages per project requirements
• Provide commercial and contractual advice to Project Managers and site teams
• Lead preparation, negotiation and administration of subcontract agreements and variances
• Develop and implement commercial strategies for allocated packages
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
• Lead assessment of progress claims, variations, EOTs and other entitlements
• Review notices and ensure timely compliance
• Identify and manage commercial and financial risks and opportunities
• Lead negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, planning, finance and project controls teams
