At Ausgrid, we're investing in major network and renewable energy projects, including the Hunter Central Coast Renewable Energy Zone (HCC REZ), grid scale Battery Energy Storage (BESS) and Negotiated Connection Contracts (NCC) solutions. As a Contract Manager this role is ideal for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of commercial management and project delivery. You'll be ensuring contractors meet their obligations, managing variations and claims, supporting governance and compliance requirements, and helping large infrastructure projects run smoothly from a contractual perspective. This sits within our Transmission Development & Growth team. You’ll drive the day-to-day management of high-value contracts across major projects like the HCC REZ, BESS and NCC.
You’ll be involved in early contract development supporting procurement as well as early contractor involvement. You will be responsible for contract execution, governance and performance, working closely with contractors and suppliers to drive outcomes, manage risk and ensure compliance. From negotiating terms to providing assistance in resolving disputes, your work will directly influence how we deliver infrastructure that powers communities today and tomorrow.
This is a role for someone who thrives on complexity, builds strong relationships, is a confident communicator and brings a sharp eye for detail and strategy. You’ll champion continuous improvement and play a key part in Ausgrid’s energy transition journey.
