Western Power is seeking a Contract Management Team Leader to drive delivery of high-value contracts across critical infrastructure projects in Western Australia. You will lead a team, set standards, and ensure compliance with the Contract Management Framework while delivering safe, efficient contract outcomes.

This leadership role offers the chance to influence innovation in energy networks, collaborate across functions, and deliver long-term value for customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Law or a Legal discipline, Engineering, Business or a Commercial discipline, OR trade-based qualifications coupled with significant, broad and deep Contract Management / Commercial experience.
• Extensive technical experience in complex contract management with strong negotiation skills and commercial risk analysis.
• Knowledge of external contracting markets, governance and probity.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical knowledge with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead an effective and efficient management of high-value contracts with reputational impact.
• Ensure consistent application of Western Power’s Contract Management Framework.
• Contribute to improvements in Contract Management and WHS Frameworks.
• Provide clear technical direction to the team and allocate resources accordingly.
• Manage a team of contract managers responsible for contract deliverables.
• Oversee outsourced works on network or customer projects, including safety, environment, QA and critical path scheduling.
