Western Power is seeking a Network Project Delivery Team Leader to head a team delivering critical transmission, SCADA and telecommunications projects in the Perth CBD. You will provide strong leadership, ensure governance, manage risks and coordinate delivery across a portfolio of programs.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule performance, and financial outcomes, with opportunities to develop the team, engage stakeholders and drive continuous improvement within a flexible, permanent role.

Qualifications

• Professional project management qualification (PMP, PRINCE2 or RegPM) required.
• Degree qualification or relevant industry/operational experience expected.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams up to around 20 people.
• Extensive project management knowledge in an electrical utility environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee delivery of assigned projects and programs with focus on safety, scope, quality, schedule and budget.
• Provide leadership and support to Project Managers and delivery teams to align resources and priorities.
• Ensure governance under Western Power’s project management frameworks and processes.
• Identify risks, constraints and performance issues and escalate when needed.
• Develop team capability and promote delivery discipline and continuous improvement.
