Job summary

DP World in Port Botany is seeking a Contract Management Coordinator to manage contractor engagement, compliance and HSE activities. The role ensures all contractors meet safety, security and operational standards while supporting governance and efficiency.

Qualifications

Job description

We are currently seeking a Contract Management Coordinator to join our Maintenance team, based in Port Botany. In this role, you will coordinate contractor engagement, compliance and HSE activities, ensuring all contractors are managed in accordance with DP World’s safety, security, engineering and operational requirements. You will also maintain contractor compliance records, support planned maintenance activities, and provide contractor management to strengthen governance, safety performance and operational efficiency.

This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm, with occasional weekend work required to support operational needs.

Key Accountabilities:

• Coordinate contractor onboarding and site inductions, ensuring compliance and access requirements are met before work commences.
• Support contractor risk assessments, pre-start planning and compliance audits to ensure safe and compliant work activities.
• Escalate contractor hazards, breaches and non-conformances, and support investigations into incidents, hazards and near misses.
• Support contractor mobilisation and scheduling to ensure work is delivered safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and coordinate reviews of maintenance safety documentation, ensuring procedures, risk assessments and work instructions remain current and compliant.
• Support continuous improvement and corrective actions to enhance contractor governance, safety performance and operational efficiency

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety, or relevant HSE Qualification
• Qualifications in contractor management, risk management, auditing or incident investigation (e.g. ICAM) are desirable
• 5 Years’ experience in HSE, contractor management or maintenance coordination within a large-scale industrial, infrastructure, logistics, construction or port environment.
• Experience conducting contractor inspections, compliance audits and performance reviews.
• Experience maintaining compliance registers, document control systems and operational reporting.
• Strong knowledge of contractor management, HSE compliance, and WHS legislation, regulations and Codes of Practice.
