Job summary

Cadstruct Recruitment is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a fast-growing Sydney-based fit-out and refurbishment contractor. You will manage the commercial side of live projects, handle subcontract procurement, cost tracking, variations and progress claims, and report to the Project Manager to keep programs and budgets on track on heritage-listed sites.

Experience of 3–5 years in commercial fit-out or refurbishment, a qualification in Construction Management or Quantity

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Contract Administrator in commercial fit-out or refurbishment.
• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.
• Experience on complex, live-environment or heritage projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial side of the project from start to finish, including subcontract procurement, cost tracking, variations and progress claims.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to keep the job on programme and on budget on live, heritage-listed sites.
• Handle documentation and contract correspondence through Procore and build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients.
• Support learning and development within the PM team on a live project environment.
