Job summary

Randstad Pty is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join a dynamic, quality-driven builder delivering high-spec projects across Australia. The role is based in the inner north Brisbane office and focuses on the commercial backbone of key projects, including subcontract and head contract management.

You will manage procurement, variations, and cash-flow, ensuring commercial certainty and a positive cash position throughout the build lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Contract Administrator within commercial, industrial, or multi-residential building sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to build relationships with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in contract administration, financial reporting, forecasting, cash-flow reconciliation, and margin preservation.

Responsibilities

• Compile, tender, and award trade packages in line with the procurement schedule.
• Administer subcontractor accounts, including progress claims, variations, and deeds of release.
• Maintain trade compliance, scopes of work, and formal contract execution.
• Compile, submit, and negotiate head contract variations and scopes with stakeholders.
• Estimate pricing and assemble options for requested changes or adjustments.
• Issue notices regarding variations, delays, and related matters as needed.
• Oversee and reconcile project progress claims through payment processing.
• Support project financial account management, cost-to-complete reporting, and forecasting models.
• Monitor preliminary costs and trade variation impacts across projects.
