Job summary

Artesian Hospitality is seeking a creative Content & Social Media Creator to produce engaging content for 9 hospitality venues across the Gold Coast & Brisbane. The role blends office-based content work with in-venue shoots, with peak hours on Friday and Saturday nights.

Approximately 20 hours per week, mix of office and venue hours, no formal degree required, strong UGC instincts, and proficiency in CapCut, Canva, TikTok and Instagram. Includes AI tools in workflow.

• Solid grasp of current TikTok and Instagram trends.
• Confidence filming in busy nightlife environments.
• Proficiency in CapCut, TikTok, Instagram and Canva.
• Organized, proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a mix of day and night hours including some Friday and Saturday nights.
• Active use of AI tools in workflow (ChatGPT, Claude, ElevenLabs, Midjourney).

Content & Social Media Creator | Part-Time

Artesian Hospitality is on the hunt for a creative, trend-obsessed Content & Social Media Creator to join our growing team across the Gold Coast & Brisbane.

This is a part-time role of approximately 20 hours per week — and it’s definitely not your average 9-to-5.

You’ll be creating content across 9 unique hospitality venues — from rooftop beach clubs and nightclubs to restaurants, pubs, bars and live music venues. Think rooftop sunsets, packed dance floors, cocktail and food shoots, live music and events, influencer collabs, viral TikToks and behind-the-scenes venue moments.

The Role

This role is approximately 20 hours per week, combining office-based content work with time spent capturing our venues in action.

Some of those hours will be when our venues are at their busiest — Friday and Saturday nights, event launches, major activations and VIP nights. If that energises you, you’ll love it. If you’re looking for a traditional Monday-to-Friday role, this probably isn’t the one.

Your week will be a mix of editing, scheduling, trend research, graphics and content planning, alongside in-venue hours capturing live content during trade, events, launches and nightlife activations.

No two weeks will look exactly the same.

The Responsibilities

Creating TikToks, Reels and social-first content, predominantly shot on phone and designed to feel authentic and in-the-moment

Capturing photo and video content across our venues

Editing fast-paced social content using CapCut

Staying across current trends, sounds and viral formats

Creating social graphics in Canva

Working with influencers, DJs, artists and venue teams

Capturing events, launches and key moments as they happen

Assisting with content planning and scheduling across multiple brands

The Individual

No formal degree required — we care about your ability to create exciting, on-trend content, full stop.

You’ll need:

Strong UGC instincts and a confident eye for content

A solid grasp of current TikTok and Instagram trends

Confidence filming in busy nightlife environments

Proficiency in CapCut, TikTok, Instagram and Canva

An organised, proactive approach in a fast-paced environment

Flexibility to work a mix of day and night hours, including some Friday and Saturday nights

Active use of AI tools in your workflow — ChatGPT, Claude, ElevenLabs, Midjourney and similar. You don’t need to be an expert, but we’re looking for someone who embraces new tools and knows how to use them to work smarter and faster

Photography and/or hospitality experience is a bonus, not a requirement
