Job summary

The Hinterland Collection – Coolangatta QLD is seeking a Content Creator & Social Media Manager to elevate our wedding venues, accommodation and tours across the Tweed region. The role combines photography, videography and social media management to turn great content into enquiries and bookings.

You will shoot on-location, edit for multiple brands, manage posts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest, and coordinate with our marketing team for monthly performance insights.

Qualifications

• Professional photography experience with a portfolio of work you personally photographed and edited.
• Professional videography experience, including filming and editing short-form content.
• Drone photography and videography experience with credentials/licences for operations.
• Experience planning and managing business social media accounts.
• Strong copywriting, organisation and confidence across multiple brands.
• Current driver’s licence and availability to work Thursday–Monday roster.

Responsibilities

• Photograph and film our venues, weddings, food, accommodation and river cruises.
• Capture and edit drone footage where appropriate.
• Plan shoots around events, menus and campaigns with shot lists.
• Direct staff on camera for interviews and behind‑the‑scenes content.
• Create Reels, TikToks, Stories and Pinterest content for each brand.
• Write, schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest.
• Build an organised library of edited photographs and videos for social media, websites and campaigns.
• Coordinate content approvals with marketing/venue teams; manage responses to comments; provide monthly performance reports.
• Assist with selected venue tours.

$75,000–$85,000 plus super, depending on experience

The Hinterland Collection brings together wedding venues, accommodation, dining and river experiences across the Tweed. Our businesses include Summergrove Estate, Elysian Hills, Potager, Cascade Springs, Bellingdale Farm and Tweed Eco Cruises.

We're looking for a skilled content creator who can capture our venues and experiences to a professional standard, manage our social channels and help turn great content into enquiries and bookings.

What you'll do

• Professionally photograph and film our venues, weddings, food, accommodation, farm experiences and river cruises.

• Capture and edit drone photography and video where appropriate.

• Plan shoots around upcoming events, menus, packages and seasonal campaigns, including concepts and shot lists.

• Direct staff and other participants on camera for interviews, walkthroughs and behind-the-scenes content.

• Create Reels, TikToks, Stories and Pinterest content tailored to each brand.

• Write, schedule and publish content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest.

• Build an organised library of edited photographs, videos and usable footage for social media, websites and campaigns.

• Coordinate content approvals with our marketing and venue teams, manage appropriate responses to comments and messages, and provide monthly performance reports with recommendations.

• Assist with selected venue tours.

The role follows a Thursday to Monday roster, when most weddings, dining and tourism activity takes place. Content creation and social media management are the primary responsibilities, with tour support scheduled around them.

Essential experience

• Professional photography experience, with a portfolio of work you personally photographed and edited.

• Professional videography experience, including filming and editing short-form content.

• Drone photography and videography experience, with the credentials required for the operations you undertake.

• Experience planning and managing business social media accounts.

• Strong copywriting, organization and confidence working across several distinct brands.

• A current driver's licence and availability to work the Thursday to Monday roster.

Experience in weddings, hospitality, tourism or accommodation would be an advantage.
