Job summary

Mission Australia is seeking a Content Producer to bring our stories to life across website, social, video and print. You will shape content direction, using editorial judgement, audience insight and storytelling to communicate our purpose and impact.

You will lead brand voice, ensure accessibility and consistency, collaborate with frontline teams, and coordinate production across channels to maximise reach and relevance for Australians in need.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, Media or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in content or communications, creating and delivering high-quality content across multiple channels.
  • Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information and organisational priorities into clear, engaging content.
  • Strong understanding of digital content best practice across websites, social media, email, video and emerging channels.
  • Experience applying brand, tone of voice, accessibility and style guidelines to create consistent, audience-focused communications.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and confidently advise and influence stakeholders on content and storytelling priorities.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, contributors and deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Ability to use audience insights, performance data and market trends to inform content decisions and continuously improve engagement and effectiveness.

Your opportunity

At Mission Australia, the stories we share help people understand the challenges facing Australians and the difference that support, connection and opportunity can make.
