Job summary

Linfox Intermodal in Brisbane is seeking a proactive asset and fleet coordinator to oversee container fleet movement, maintenance and compliance in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure assets are ready to support safe and efficient freight movement across Australia. Strong data skills and Excel reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in fleet coordination, asset management or equipment control within a transport/ logistics environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience coordinating maintenance, repairs and compliance for assets or equipment.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple teams.
• Strong reporting capabilities with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the movement, utilisation and visibility of container fleet assets across the national Intermodal network.
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs and compliance to keep containers and refrigeration units fit for service.
• Collaborate with Fleet, Road Operations and external providers on asset repositioning and CAPEX initiatives.
• Ensure container assets meet safety, compliance and HACCP requirements while supporting operations.
• Monitor fleet availability, investigate issues and implement solutions to maximise asset utilisation.
• Provide reporting and analysis to support business decisions and planning.

What does the job look like?

At Linfox Intermodal, we're responsible for moving freight safely and efficiently across Australia's rail and road network. Sitting at the heart of our Brisbane metro operation, you'll partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our container fleet is compliant, maintained and ready to support the safe and efficient movement of freight across Australia.

Key areas:

• Manage the movement, utilisation and visibility of container fleet assets across the national Intermodal network
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs and compliance activities to ensure containers and refrigeration units remain fit for service
• Work closely with Fleet, Road Operations and external providers to support asset repositioning, trade-outs and CAPEX initiatives
• Ensure container assets meet safety, compliance and HACCP requirements while supporting operational performance
• Monitor fleet availability, investigate issues and implement solutions to maximise asset utilisation
• Provide reporting and analysis to support business decisions, continuous improvement and operational planning

You're highly organised and someone who enjoys balancing operational priorities, analysing data and managing assets in a fast-paced logistics environment.You can demonstrate:

• Experience in fleet coordination, asset management or equipment control within a transport, logistics or industrial environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience coordinating maintenance, repairs and compliance requirements across assets or equipment
• Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple operational teams
• Strong system and reporting capabilities with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
