Job summary
The Adecco Group is seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to join an established Australian manufacturer supplying custom-designed solutions to mining, resources and industrial sectors.
This consultative, solution-based role focuses on understanding client needs, developing practical concepts, and coordinating with engineering and production teams to translate opportunities into orders. You’ll build relationships onsite, prepare quotations, and drive profitable growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in technical sales or solution sales.
- Experience within mining, fabrication, manufacturing, engineering or related technical industry.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Familiarity with CAD or technical design software.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop new business and identify sales opportunities.
- Meet customers onsite to understand their technical requirements.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Develop basic concepts to communicate potential solutions.
- Work alongside design and engineering teams on custom requirements.
- Prepare and manage quotations.
- Coordinate with engineering, design and production throughout the sales process.
