Job summary

Clitic Technologies Pty Ltd in Sydney seeks an experienced ICT/Technical Business Analyst to elicit and document business requirements, design process improvements, and support ICT solution implementations with stakeholders and technical teams.

The role requires strong Backbase platform expertise, banking domain knowledge, and experience translating needs into clear functional specifications. You will collaborate with development and testing teams and contribute to UAT and validation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of ICT experience including 4+ years as ICT/Technical Business Analyst.
• Strong Backbase platform experience and knowledge of Backbase journeys.
• Translating business requirements into functional/technical specs.
• Understanding REST APIs and API integrations.
• Banking domain knowledge with regulatory awareness.
• Experience with financial sector software and integrations.
• Exposure to SQL, HTML5, JSON, JavaScript/Typescript and ReactJS.
• Lifecycle management of banking products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery with business and technical stakeholders to understand landscape and constraints.
• Lead requirement workshops (JAD) and translate needs into detailed requirements and docs.
• Perform gap analysis and define target process flows and ICT solution designs.
• Analyse existing ICT systems and model target-state processes and designs.
• Collaborate with development and testing teams to clarify requirements.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solution.
• Contribute to process and data modelling and integration design.
• Assist in training and knowledge sharing.
• Utilise Backbase knowledge to inform digital solution design and discussions.
• Communicate issue status and solutions to stakeholders.
• Assist in test planning, UAT and validation of features.

Task & responsibilities

Clitic Technologies Pty Ltd

• Conduct discovery exercise with business and technical stakeholders to understand business and technical landscape, constraints, and system dependencies
• Conduct requirement workshops (JAD sessions), analyse & translate business needs into detailed requirements, functional and process documents
• Perform gap analysis and define target process flows and contribute to solution designs
• Analyse existing ICT systems and business processes, identify functional gaps and system impacts, define target-state processes and contribute to ICT solution designs.
• Work closely with development & testing team to provide ongoing clarification on requirements
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solution
• Contribute to process modelling, data modelling, and integration design
• Assist in training, knowledge sharing
• Utilize Backbase platform knowledge to assist in digital solution design and implementation discussions
• Communicate issue status and solutions effectively to stakeholders
• Assist in Test planning, UAT and validation of delivered features

Qualification & experience

• 10+ years of overall ICT experience, including at least 4+ years’ experience working as an ICT Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst.
• Strong Backbase platform experience, preferably with Backbase certification. The role requires good understanding of Backbase customer journeys to analyse requirements and identify functional impacts.
• Strong experience analysing component-level impacts and translating business requirements into clear functional specifications and technical requirements.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and experience analysing API integrations and their impact on business and software solutions.
• Strong digital banking experience and knowledge spanning across business, product, and architecture
• Good experience working in software solutions for financial sector
• Exposure to SQL, HTML5, Material UI, JSON, Javascript/Typescript and ReactJS
• Strong banking domain understanding including regulatory compliance needs, lifecycle management of banking products

Academic Qualification

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in an IT (or related) discipline
