Job summary

Hindmarsh in Sydney is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects. You will oversee delivery from start to finish, manage budgets, schedule, and client relations, and mentor project teams to achieve outstanding results.

You will work under a Construction Manager, driving safety, quality and performance across programs while fostering a collaborative culture and delivering value for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering commercial construction projects within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor environment.
• Proven track record leading projects from commencement through to completion.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project financial performance and contractual obligations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative leadership style and passion for developing high-performing teams.
• Experience using Microsoft Project, CHEOPS, Aconex and similar construction management systems.

Responsibilities

• Leading project delivery from commencement through to successful completion.
• Driving project performance across safety, quality, programme, commercial and client outcomes.
• Leading multidisciplinary project teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Managing project budgets, cashflow, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
• Overseeing programming, project planning, procurement and risk management.
• Mentoring and developing emerging project leaders across the business.
• Championing Hindmarsh's culture, values and commitment to quality and safety.
