Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Sydney is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of complex construction and property projects across diverse sectors.

You will manage projects from planning through handover, ensuring safety, time, budget and quality while guiding stakeholders and mentoring team members.

This senior, client-facing role requires commercial judgement and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in a relevant field is expected.
• Strong track record delivering complex projects across sectors.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts and financial controls.
• Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience leading or mentoring project management professionals is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through full lifecycle: planning, design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Establish and manage project scopes, programs, budgets, risk registers and delivery strategies.
• Lead client and stakeholder meetings, prepare agendas and provide updates and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain master project budgets, timelines, forecasts and financial reports.
• Manage consultants, contractors and suppliers, including engagement and oversight.
• Review project documentation, drawings, progress claims, variations, change orders and invoices.
• Identify and manage risks and dependencies with mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, safety requirements, governance frameworks and quality standards.
• Prepare detailed reports for clients and senior leadership.
