Job summary

Hindmarsh is seeking a Project Manager to lead technically challenging construction projects across Sydney. You will take ownership from initiation through to completion, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and actively managing budgets, schedules and risk.

Qualifications

• Strong experience delivering commercial construction projects in Tier 1/2 environments.
• Proven track record leading projects from start to finish.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using MS Project, CHEOPS and Aconex.

Reporting to and supported by an experienced Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading project delivery from commencement through to successful completion
• Driving project performance across safety, quality, programme, commercial and client outcomes
• Leading multidisciplinary project teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture
• Managing project budgets, cashflow, forecasting and commercial performance
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders
• Overseeing programming, project planning, procurement and risk management
• Mentoring and developing emerging project leaders across the business
• Championing Hindmarsh's culture, values and commitment to quality and safety

We are looking for team members who have:

• Strong experience delivering commercial construction projects, ideally within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor environment
• A proven track record leading projects from commencement through to completion
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project financial performance and contractual obligations
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• A collaborative leadership style and passion for developing high-performing teams
• Experience using Microsoft Project, CHEOPS, Aconex and similar construction management systems
