Job summary

Director, Construction is seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to support the delivery of large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. You will partner with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to keep work on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You will assist with planning, scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and progress tracking, while ensuring compliance with contracts and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in project coordination or management in construction.
• Experience on large-scale construction projects from $50m upwards; education experience optional.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of construction project management tools and software.
• Understanding of construction contracts and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, specifications, and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules and change orders.
• Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues.
• Coordinate project tasks to meet timelines and budgets.
• Track expenses and report to managers.
• Identify and escalate project-related issues as needed.
• Keep project records accurate and up-to-date.
