Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group's Spence Doors is seeking a Project Administrator for its Carole Park, Qld site. You will report to the National Projects Manager and focus on understanding customer needs, quoting, and closing sales while delivering excellent service.

The role requires strong attention to detail, solid administration skills, and ability to work with project documents, pricing, and tender submissions. Join a dynamic team supporting major door projects across commercial segments.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration and management of construction projects.
• Ability to communicate with management, clients, specifiers and subcontractors.
• Strong computer skills – proficient in MS Office applications.
• Previous experience in Manufacturing and Sales will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone and emails promptly, resolving customer inquiries with excellent service.
• Document control, register projects for quoting, orders and tender activity.
• Keep up to date on product and process knowledge.
• Review tender requests, summarize requirements and provide accurate pricing.
• Prepare and present project pricing for proposals (source material and external pricing).
• Submit pricing variations as required.
• Analyse drawings and specifications to determine frames/doors and specs.
• Attend inbound leads, RFIs and RFQs promptly.
• Contribute to achieving sales targets and follow up quotes to close sales.
• Maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective customers to maximise market share.
• Review project information and client requirements.
• Establish a project program for detailing, manufacture, delivery and installation if required.
• Prepare manufacture orders with all required info for production.
• Ensure goods are manufactured and delivered as planned.
• Manage subcontract site installation and costs.
• Act on client site instructions and follow up approvals.
• Maintain CRM data.
