Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the Standard Homes division from the Sunshine Coast to Caboolture. You will oversee ~75 homes, mentor 5 Supervisors, ensure on-time delivery, budget control and high quality across multiple projects.

The role requires 10+ years in residential construction, a QBCC Site Supervisor Licence, and strong leadership and software skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in residential construction, with leadership experience.
• Proven ability to lead multiple Supervisors and high-volume builds.
• QBCC Site Supervisor Licence and Construction White Card required.
• Strong knowledge of NCC/BCA and building regulations.
• Proficient in construction management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of approximately 5 Construction Supervisors.
• Oversee portfolio of ~75 residential homes across Sunshine Coast to Caboolture.
• Ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence and quality standards.
• Monitor schedules, trades, resources, and site progress.

• Drive KPIs, accountability and continuous improvement.

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded residential builder with a strong reputation for delivering quality homes across South East Queensland. With a solid pipeline of projects, a supportive management team and a commitment to quality construction, they are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead their Standard Homes division across the Sunshine Coast to Caboolture region. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven construction leader looking to take ownership of a busy residential construction portfolio and make a genuine impact on team performance and project delivery.

Reporting to senior management, you will oversee a team of approximately 5 Construction Supervisors, each managing around 15 residential builds at various stages of construction. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while supporting and developing your team to achieve operational targets. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who understands residential construction, enjoys mentoring Supervisors and has the commercial ability to drive performance across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of approximately 5 Construction Supervisors.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years' experience in residential construction, including construction management and leadership.
• Proven experience managing multiple Construction Supervisors and high-volume residential builds.
• Current QBCC Site Supervisor Licence and Construction White Card.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, NCC/BCA requirements and building regulations.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop and hold teams accountable.
• Proficient in construction management software, Microsoft Office and reporting systems.
