Job summary

CTC in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable professional to support day-to-day finance functions in a hands-on role. You will work with project teams, suppliers and clients to manage coding, invoicing, payments and reconciliations using Xero.

The ideal candidate will have AP/AR experience within construction or project-based environments, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented, autonomous approach within a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Strong Xero experience.
• Construction, subcontracting or project-based environment experience preferred.
• Excel proficiency.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident in communicating with suppliers, clients and internal project teams.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership.
• Team-focused and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding.
• Prepare and process supplier payments.
• Raise customer invoices.
• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up payments.
• Bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records in Xero.
• Respond to supplier and client account enquiries.
• Assist with monthly reporting and account reconciliations.
• Maintain records across construction projects.
• Provide general accounts and admin support.
