Job summary

Agrifutures is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team in North Sydney on a 6-month contract with strong potential to extend to permanent. You will manage end-to-end AP in a high-volume environment, ensuring accurate coding and timely payment runs.

Key experience includes Xero proficiency, excellent communication, and the ability to work autonomously while prioritising multiple tasks. This role offers a supportive team and a clear path to permanency for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role.
• Xero experience essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage high volume invoice processing from end to end.

About the Role

A well-established construction business is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team. The role involves end to end AP responsibilities. This is a high volume transactional environment, offered as an initial 6 month contract with strong potential to convert to permanent.

The Responsibilities

• Manage high volume invoice processing from end to end
• Match, batch and code invoices against purchase orders
• Process payment runs and reconcile supplier statements
• Respond to supplier queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate AP records within Xero
• Support month end AP processes as required

The Successful Applicant

• Proven experience in a high volume Accounts Payable role
• Xero experience essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
