Job summary

Novotel Barossa Valley Resort, part of Accor, is seeking an experienced Conference Events Sales Executive to join our team. Under the guidance of the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will drive leads, proposals and successful events in the Barossa region.

You will coordinate site inspections, manage proposals, and build lasting client relationships with conference and incentive companies while adhering to brand standards and evolving sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in conference and event planning and sales outcomes.
• Ability to develop proposals covering venue, menu and accommodation costs.
• Strong client relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond proactively to sales opportunities and manage leads across channels.
• Coordinate and host familiarisation and site inspections for clients.
• Drive sales to achieve conversion targets and help forecast sales.
• Develop and maintain relationships with conference/incentive companies to secure new business.
• Represent the hotel at relevant trade events as brand ambassador.
• Ensure pricing adherence and smooth handovers to event coordinators.
