Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort and Sunshine Coast Convention Centre, part of the Accor network, is seeking an organised events professional to coordinate end-to-end conferences, events and group functions across our resort and convention venue.

Reporting to the Conference & Events Sales Manager, you will manage planning, client communications, site inspections and post-event billing, ensuring every detail is delivered seamlessly and to KPI targets.

• Experience with event management systems; Delphi FDC highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of conferences, events, sporting groups and exclusive-use events.
• Prepare accurate Banquet Event Orders and coordinate requirements across clients and operational teams.
• Lead planning meetings, site inspections and pre-event briefings.
• Maintain strong client communication throughout the event lifecycle.
• Manage event billing including payments, final invoicing, commissions and loyalty points.
• Maintain accurate event data and documentation using Delphi FDC.
• Work towards key department KPIs including client satisfaction and event delivery standards.
