Ferrovial is seeking a Foreman to supervise formwork operations on our concrete construction projects in Sydney, Australia.

You will read plans, direct crews, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate with site teams to keep formwork on schedule. Prior experience in heavy civil or formwork is preferred; strong leadership and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in concrete formwork and related tasks.
• Ability to read construction drawings and plans.
• Safety-conscious and able to lead a crew.

Responsabilités

• Checks forms while concrete is being placed.
• Directs others in stripping forms after concrete is placed.
• May install miscellaneous materials integral to concrete structures.
• May install precast concrete elements.
• Prepares for slipforming traffic rail and median barrier.
• May install permanent metal deck forms.
• May work with power tools.
• Whatever enhances the operations of the company
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to the supervisor and/or Human Resources
