Job summary

Beyond Bank Australia is hiring a Compliance professional to join its Risk and Compliance team in Sydney. You will provide regulatory advice, support incidents and reporting, and help maintain the Bank's Compliance Framework.

You will partner with stakeholders to interpret requirements, drive regulatory change initiatives, and promote a strong risk and compliance culture within a purpose-led, member-owned bank.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services compliance, risk, audit or regulatory advisory.
• Ability to interpret complex legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical compliance advice and guidance to the business.
• Analyse and interpret legislation, prudential standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support regulatory change initiatives and project work.
• Assist with management of compliance incidents, investigations, remediation and reporting.
• Support enhancement of the Compliance Framework, policies and governance.
