Job summary

Beyond Bank Australia seeks a Regulatory Assurance Specialist to strengthen compliance through independent assurance reviews and trusted insights for risk management. You will collaborate with stakeholders to assess controls, identify improvements and uphold a culture of compliance.

You will lead reviews, identify gaps, deliver actionable recommendations and report outcomes to senior leaders, ensuring remediation actions are completed effectively and on schedule.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years in audit, assurance, risk, compliance or consulting.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and ability to interpret requirements.
• Strong investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience conducting reviews and improving controls.
• Excellent report-writing and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver regulatory assurance reviews across key compliance obligations.
• Assess the effectiveness of business processes, controls and regulatory compliance outcomes.
• Complete independent assurance reviews to meet external regulatory and audit requirements.
• Identify control weaknesses, process gaps and compliance issues, providing practical recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare clear, concise assurance reports and present findings to stakeholders and leaders.
• Monitor and challenge remediation actions to ensure issues are addressed and closed.
• Conduct targeted reviews of high-risk areas and emerging compliance risks.
• Provide coaching, technical guidance and quality review support to enhance team capability.
