Job summary

Rabobank Gruppe in Sydney is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager, Advisory to provide practical, commercially focused compliance guidance across BAU activities, initiatives and regulatory change. You’ll partner with stakeholders to embed controls, support breach management, advise on conflicts of interest, and contribute to policy development, training and Board reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in banking and financial services.
• Compliance risk management or advisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand regulatory environment.
• A relevant tertiary or industry qualification.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Sound commercial judgement and the ability to turn complex requirements into practical advice.
• A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advice across BAU activities, escalations, initiatives and projects.
• Partner with the business to embed regulatory requirements and controls.
• Support compliance breach and incident management.
• Advise on conflicts of interest.
• Provide input into policies, standards and regulatory change.
• Support audit and compliance findings.
• Deliver technical training and guidance.
• Contribute to management and Board reporting.
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry practices.
