Job summary

Beyond Bank, a 100% member-owned, certified B Corp bank, is seeking aCompliance professional to join the Risk and Compliance team in Australia. You will provide regulatory advice, support incident handling and reporting, and help sustain the Bank's Compliance Framework across the organisation.

The role partners with stakeholders, interprets legislation, drives regulatory change initiatives and supports continuous improvement through governance and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services compliance, risk, audit or regulatory advisory.
• Ability to interpret complex legislation and regulatory requirements to support business decisions.
• Sound knowledge of banking regulations and industry standards, including consumer credit, privacy, corporations and prudential requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical compliance advice and guidance, helping the business understand and meet its regulatory obligations.
• Analyse and interpret legislation, prudential standards, industry codes and regulatory requirements relevant to the Bank.
• Partner with project and business teams to support regulatory change initiatives, strategic projects and business improvements.
• Assist with the management of compliance incidents, including investigations, regulatory assessment, remediation, and reporting.
• Support the ongoing enhancement of the Bank's Compliance Framework, policies, procedures and governance practices.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation, promoting compliance awareness and contributing to a positive risk and compliance culture.
