Job summary

National Networks Plus in Frenchs Forest, NSW, is seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer for a newly created internal role. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will manage governance and compliance, maintain portals, and prepare reports to support quality and continuous improvement across the business.

The role is office-based and requires hands-on oversight of contractor and client compliance, document control, and records management in the NDIS and Aged Care sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in a compliance, quality, assurance or similar role.
• NDIS or Aged Care experience highly regarded.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and compliance processes.
• Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Governance and compliance: manage compliance across NDIS, Aged Care, WHS and privacy.
• Quality and assurance: maintain policies, procedures and controlled documents; track incidents and corrective actions.
• Auditing: coordinate internal compliance audits and prepare audit reports.
• Maintain compliance registers, portfolios and documentation; administer portals.
• Coordinate employee and contractor compliance requirements and reporting.

National Networks Plus is seeking a dedicatedCompliance Officer to join our team in this newly created internal role.

Reporting to our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing internal and external governance and compliance requirements, maintaining compliance portals for both National Networks Plus and our clients, following up on outstanding documentation, and preparing and submitting reports as required.

This is a fully office-based position that requires a hands-on approach to supporting quality, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Key responsibilities include contractor compliance, internal auditing, client compliance requirements within the NDIS and Aged Care sectors, document control, records management, and maintaining compliance standards across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Governance and Compliance

• Manage organisational compliance across NDIS, Aged Care, WHS and privacy requirements.
• Maintain compliance registers, policies, licences and certifications.
• Monitor client and contractor compliance obligations and documentation.
• Administer compliance and accreditation portals.
• Coordinate employee and contractor compliance requirements.
• Prepare compliance reports and stakeholder submissions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and recommend improvements.
• Identify and escalate compliance risks.

Quality and Assurance

• Maintain policies, procedures and controlled documents.
• Support quality and compliance requirements across the business.
• Monitor incidents, complaints and corrective actions.
• Track compliance performance and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain evidence for audits, accreditations and client requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement across systems and processes.
• Support compliance and quality training activities.

Auditing

• Coordinate and conduct internal compliance audits.
• Maintain audit schedules, records and action plans.
• Assess compliance against regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Identify compliance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor and follow up audit findings and corrective actions.
• Prepare documentation for external audits and reviews.
• Liaise with auditors, regulators and client representatives.
• Prepare audit reports and recommendations.

What you bring to the role

• Previous experience in a compliance, quality, assurance or similar role
• NDIS or Aged Care experience highly regarded
• Knowledge of quality management systems and compliance processes
• Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical skills and an enquiring mind
• Exceptional attention to detail â accuracy is non-negotiable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• National Police Check, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screener and unrestricted right to work in Australia
