Job summary

Cuscal is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join the Group Risk & Compliance team in Australia. You will oversee regulatory obligations, compliance assurance, and change management across the organisation.

You will manage compliance frameworks, maintain registers and reporting, develop policies, conduct reviews, monitor regulatory developments, and provide guidance to stakeholders on APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, OAIC and DIA requirements. The role emphasizes autonomy and strong judgement.

Qualifications

• Extensive compliance experience within Australian financial services or payments industry.
• Ability to translate complex obligations into practical guidance.
• Strong understanding of compliance management principles, structures and processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory obligation management and compliance assurance.
• Maintain compliance registers, monitoring plans and reporting.
• Develop and review compliance policies, standards and guidance.
• Perform compliance reviews and control assurance activities.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impacts; advise on actions.
• Provide updates on APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, OAIC and DIA requirements to stakeholders.
• Support regulatory certifications, reporting and engagement.
• Manage the risk and compliance training calendar and programs.
• Support audit activities and responses to information requests.
• Provide regular compliance reporting and analyses to management.
