Job summary

Cuscal is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join the Group Risk & Compliance team in Sydney. You will oversee regulatory compliance across Cuscal, focusing on obligation management, compliance assurance, regulatory change and product compliance.

You will build and maintain compliance registers, policies and training, perform reviews, monitor changes, and provide stakeholders with updates on APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, OAIC and DIA requirements. Autonomy and judgement are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive compliance or regulatory experience in Australian financial services/payments.
• Strong knowledge of APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC, OAIC and DIA requirements.
• Ability to interpret complex obligations and provide practical guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory compliance across Cuscal focusing on obligation management, compliance assurance and regulatory change.
• Develop and review compliance policies, standards and guidance.
• Maintain compliance registers, monitoring plans and reporting.
• Perform compliance reviews and control assurance activities.
• Monitor emerging regulatory changes and advise on actions.
• Provide stakeholders with updates on regulatory developments.
• Support regulatory certifications, reporting and engagement.
• Contribute to the design of compliance training programs and audits.
