Hurford Wholesale Pty Ltd invites applications for an import due-diligence specialist based at our Yatala/ Stapylton site. You will review regulated timber supply chains, assess legality, traceability and supplier documentation, and help ensure compliance under Australia’s illegal logging framework.
The role is office-based, five days a week, with close collaboration with Purchasing and overseas suppliers to resolve documentation issues, maintain the due-diligence system, and track imports
Hurford's is an Australian third-generation family business founded in 1932. Hurford Wholesale distributes timber products across Australia and overseas, with this role based at our Yatala / Stapylton site.
Before a regulated timber import goes ahead, we need to understand the supply chain and have the evidence required under Australia's illegal logging framework. This role owns that day-to-day work: reviewing supply chains, resolving gaps with suppliers and Purchasing, clearing purchase orders once issues are resolved, and keeping the supporting controls current.
The role is office-based at Hurford Wholesale's Yatala / Stapylton site and requires attendance five days a week.
