• Experience in internal sales, customer service, sales-order processing, operations administration or logistics coordination.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and follow-up with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Professional and responsive telephone and email manner.
• Experience using ERP or inventory systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Clear written and verbal English and ability to work across customers, sales, warehouse, purchasing, accounts and transport providers.

Responsibilities

• Respond professionally to customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Process sales orders accurately and confirm pricing, stock availability, lead times and delivery requirements.
• Prepare quotations, follow up outstanding quotes and refer sales opportunities to the relevant salesperson.
• Check customer purchase orders against Auswood sales orders and coordinate approved changes or urgent requirements.
• Support external sales staff with quotations, stock checks, order status and customer information.
• Keep customer and follow-up records current in the ERP and CRM.
• Review daily orders and dispatch priorities, confirm stock allocation and issue picking documents.
• Coordinate warehouse priorities and freight bookings, providing accurate delivery details.
• Monitor orders from picking through delivery and maintain proof-of-delivery and freight records.
• Investigate delayed, incomplete, damaged or incorrect deliveries and coordinate recovery or claims where appropriate.

Key responsibilities

About you

• Experience in internal sales, customer service, sales-order processing, operations administration or logistics coordination

• Confidence using ERP or inventory systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Clear written and verbal English and the ability to work across customers, sales, warehouse, purchasing, accounts and transport providers
• A demonstrated willingness to take ownership and follow actions through to completion
• Experience in timber, building materials, construction products, wholesale distribution or a similar environment
• Experience with MYOB Advanced or a comparable ERP, plus HubSpot or another CRM
• Practical knowledge of warehouse dispatch, freight, inventory control, cycle counting, replenishment, barcode processes or warehouse-location systems
