Job summary

Premier Fresh Australia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound activities, coordinate transport bookings, and support quality, food safety and regulatory programs across a busy site. Working with operations, suppliers and transport partners, you will ensure smooth movement of product in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, starting at 7:30am.

• Exposure to food manufacturing or FMCG environments.
• Experience coordinating transport, logistics documentation and order management.
• Strong administration, organisation and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Proficiency across systems, reporting and documentation.
• Current forklift licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to support the efficient movement of product.

• Coordinate certification, DPI and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Prepare and maintain quality, compliance and transport documentation.
• Monitor deliveries and logistics performance, proactively resolving issues when they arise.
• Maintain accurate records to support audits, inspections and certification requirements.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers and transport partners to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, quality, food safety and compliance.
• Assist in driving a strong culture of quality, food safety and operational excellence.

About the Role

This is a diverse and hands-on role that plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth movement of product while maintaining the highest standards of quality, food safety and compliance.

As the Logistics Coordinator, you will work closely with operational teams, transport providers, suppliers and customers to coordinate logistics activities, manage compliance requirements and support the site's quality assurance systems.

No two days are the same, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role operates on an early morning schedule, with a 7:30am start.

What You'll Be Doing

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable working across both logistics coordination and quality compliance activities.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Experience in a Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality or Compliance role.
• Exposure to food manufacturing, food production, agriculture or FMCG environments.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, food safety or compliance processes.
• Experience coordinating transport, logistics documentation and order management activities.
• Strong administration, organisation and attention-to-detail skills.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Strong computer skills and confidence working across systems, reporting and documentation.
• A current Forklift Licence.

Experience That Will Set You Apart

• Experience working within food manufacturing, fresh produce or FMCG environments.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), HACCP or food safety systems.
• Experience supporting certification, audit or compliance processes.
• Understanding of DPI requirements and regulatory compliance obligations.
