Job summary

JS Careers Pty partners with a leading trading firm to recruit a Compliance Analyst for the Asia-Pacific Compliance function, focusing on regulatory management of trading activities with strong APAC emphasis.

You will support day-to-day compliance operations, monitoring, and surveillance across a broad program, while driving a culture of regulatory awareness and ethics within the business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in financial markets compliance/AML
• Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Law, or related discipline
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving ability

Responsibilities

• Supporting day-to-day compliance operations, monitoring, and surveillance functions across a broad compliance program
• Helping drive a strong compliance culture and regulatory awareness across the business
• Tracking regulatory developments across applicable laws and rules to flag emerging compliance requirements
• Liaising with brokers and exchanges on trader registration, reviews, and record-keeping
• Developing and maintaining compliance policies, procedures, and training materials
• Conducting periodic compliance reviews and reporting outcomes to management
• Contributing to AML program tasks including management of onboarding
• Collaborating with regional compliance teams on cross-border issues and projects

This role sits at the intersection of Compliance, Trading, and Technology - supporting the regulatory management of trading activities across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong APAC focus.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting day-to-day compliance operations, monitoring, and surveillance functions across a broad compliance program
• Helping drive a strong compliance culture and regulatory awareness across the business
• Tracking regulatory developments across applicable laws and rules to flag emerging compliance requirements

• Strong attention to detail, with solid analytical and problem-solving ability
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and time-management skills
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to a range of audiences
• A proactive mindset, with a willingness to take ownership
