Job summary

Peabody Energy, Inc. seeks a Complex Services Maintenance Planner to plan and coordinate maintenance across the Wambo Mine complex in NSW, Australia. The role reports to the Mechanical Engineering Manager and focuses on safety, reliability, and asset performance.

The position involves developing maintenance plans, coordinating resources, managing SAP work orders, and supporting shutdowns and statutory compliance within a heavy industry setting.

Qualifications

• Trade or technical qualification in mechanical, electrical or engineering.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in mining or heavy industry.
• Knowledge of asset reliability principles.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage maintenance plans and schedules for Complex Services assets.
• Create work packs, job scopes and resource requirements for maintenance activities.
• Manage maintenance notifications and work orders within SAP.
• Support shutdowns, major maintenance projects and statutory compliance activities.
• Analyse asset performance data and identify reliability improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate contractors, service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and maintain accurate asset and maintenance records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability and asset performance.
