Job summary

Peabody is seeking a Complex Services Maintenance Planner at Wambo Mine in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales. Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will plan and coordinate maintenance activities across a diverse range of infrastructure and mobile assets to support the Wambo Complex.

Key responsibilities include developing maintenance plans, creating work packs and managing SAP work orders, while coordinating contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A trade or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within mining, heavy industry or infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning and asset reliability principles.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• A strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage maintenance plans and schedules for Complex Services assets.
• Create work packs, job scopes and resource requirements for maintenance activities.
• Manage maintenance notifications and work orders within SAP.
• Support shutdowns, major maintenance projects and statutory compliance activities.
• Analyse asset performance data and identify reliability improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate contractors, service providers and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and maintain accurate asset and maintenance records.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability and asset performance.
