Job summary

Unidex Healthcare is seeking a Disability Support Worker for a client in Avalon Beach, NSW. The participant is a middle-aged male requiring 24/7 support due to spinal cord and hypoxic brain injuries. The role involves hands-on personal care and complex care needs in a home environment.

Experience with spinal injuries, bowel care, catheter management, hoisting and medication administration is required. A full Australian drivers licence and willingness to work varied shifts including overnights

Qualifications

• Experience with bowel care, catheter care and manual handling.
• Medication administration experience.
• Experience with complex care needs and skin assessments.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• National Police Clearance and NDIS checks.
