Job summary

Redeema Pty Ltd. is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to assist participants with complex behaviours, including those with mental health needs.

The role focuses on implementing Behaviour Support Plans, maintaining documentation, and supporting daily living tasks within a PBS framework. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in disability care, NDIS supports, and valid checks (NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check) plus current First Aid/ CPR, medication endorsement, and a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check required.
• 2+ years in disability and NDIS supports.
• Medication endorsed certificate.
• First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Australian Citizen or permanent resident.
• Driver's license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Empower Participants to exercise personal choice and independence.
• Report and manage risks, restrictive practices and incidents.
• Implement Behaviour Support Plan strategies and document information for the PBS Practitioner.
• Support participants with mental health needs to stay engaged with supports.
• Provide safe and engaging environments for participants.
• Assist with personal care, meals, transport and daily tasks.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, progress notes and shift handovers.
• Handle administrative tasks with discretion and sensitivity.
