Suncorp Group is seeking a Claims Advisor for the Medical Only portfolio in Newcastle, NSW. This full-time, permanent role focuses on managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims with a strong emphasis on customer service and regulatory compliance.

You will review medical and related reports, coordinate with stakeholders, and implement effective strategies to achieve positive outcomes for injured workers while maintaining cost efficiency. A hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in workers compensation or personal injury claims.
• Strong communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review medical and related reports to support claim assessment.
• Ensure compliance with legislative timeframes during reviews.
• Develop strategies to resolve claims efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Facilitate access to rehabilitation services for recovery.
• Deliver excellent customer service to authorities, employers and injured workers.
