Hall Veterinary Surgery in ACT is looking for a friendly, organised and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you will help create a welcoming and positive experience from the moment clients walk through our doors.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and their pets with warm, friendly customer service
• Managing appointments and coordinating the daily diary
• Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries
• Processing payments and handling general billing enquiries
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client and patient records
• Liaising with veterinarians and veterinary nurses to support the smooth running of the practice
• Assisting clients with empathy, professionalism and understanding in difficult or emotional circumstances
• Providing information to clients regarding appointments, treatments and general practice services
• General reception, administration and practice support duties
• Helping to maintain a clean, organised and welcoming reception area
