Job summary

InvoCare Australia Pty Limited is seeking an Area Manager to coordinate compassionate pet collections for cremation at our SA operations. You will support families during difficult times, ensuring respectful handling of deceased pets and timely transportation to our facility.

The role requires empathy, strong organisational skills, and reliable vehicle operations. Open for flexible hours, with potential overtime on weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• A passion for helping others during difficult times.
• Compassion for animals and emotional intelligence.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and preference for a tidy environment.
• Ability to handle deceased pets professionally and compassionately.
• Able to lift up to 25kg with safe lifting procedures.
• Full driver’s licence with no restrictions.
• Willingness to undergo medical assessment and Q-Vax.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out pet collections from veterinary clinics with dignity.
• Collecting pets from owners' homes.
• Returning pet ashes to clients at home or clinics.
• Reviewing system requirements with attention to detail.
• Maintaining vehicle and work areas to high standards.
• Navigating daily runs efficiently per run requirements.
• Overtime and weekend availability as required.
