Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to provide in-home community care across St. George & Surrounding Areas in Queensland. This casual role involves traveling to clients' homes to support daily living and independence, following individual care plans.

You will perform tasks including personal care, meal prep, cleaning, and accompanying clients to appointments, with a strong emphasis on compassionate support and safety.

Qualifications

• Essential: Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or equivalent
• Essential: Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum)
• Essential: Roadworthy and insured vehicle to use for work

Responsibilities

• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits and interact with clients in their homes
• Provide in-home personal care including showering, daily living activities, meal prep, cleaning, laundry
• Follow individualised Care Plans to support independence
• Assist with community-based recreational and social activities
• Provide transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments
