Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to provide in-home community care to clients across Kelvin Grove, The Gap, Ferny Grove, Samford and surrounding areas. You will travel between visits, deliver daily living support and personal care according to care plans, and assist with meals, cleaning, shopping and transportation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent – Essential
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence – Essential
• Vehicle to use for work – Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops
• Ability to satisfy probity checks required by policy or legislation

Responsibilities

• Spending time on the road visiting clients at home to support independence
• In-home personal care including showering, daily living tasks, meal prep, cleaning, laundry
• Provide care according to each client’s Care Plan
• Support participation in community-based recreational and social activities
• Transport and accompany clients to appointments and shopping
