The role blends personal patient interaction with precise administration, requiring strong communication, empathy and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient-facing or busy customer service roles.
• Strong administrative skills with a calm, empathetic approach.
• Knowledge of healthcare processes (e.g., Medicare/PBS) or patient management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and responding to enquiries in person, by phone, email and patient portal.
• Coordinating appointments, registration, consent forms and pre-treatment requirements.
• Keeping patient records accurate and confidential.
• Explaining treatment costs and processing payments with sensitivity.
• Liaising with clinical and finance teams to support smooth care and billing.
• Identifying issues early and helping patients get the answers they need.
